Frommer's writer Amy Zavatto travels through California's Central Coast, sampling food and wine along the way. The trip sounds like a treat for anyone who likes food even a little bit. Among the highlights Zavatto lists is Windrose Farm in Paso Robles, where Bill Spencer grows exotic organic veggies like mache and 45 varietes of apple. Windrose Farm welcomes tent campers for $20/night.
