Grit Magazine: Agritourism - Getting Back to the Roots on a Small Farm

Tuesday, February 01, 2011

Kate Hixson writes about the move for small farms to add agritourism ventures to their operations in this article for Grit Magazine.  She includes everything from farm stays to corn mazes.  She interviews Scottie Jones, founder of Farm Stay U.S., about the start up of her own farm stay and then the website, as well as profiles a variety of other ventures from Ohio to Washington.  Michelle Nowak of the Farm Stay Project (and Farm Stay U.S.) is also interviewed.
