The Baltimore Sun: Laurel Echo Farm Profile

Sunday, September 06, 1998

The Baltimore Sun's Lane Harvey Brown reports on her family's farm vacation in Away from the herd Pennsylvania: Laurel Echo Farm B&B has the charm, and the chores, to put a family's stresses out to pasture. Laurel Echo Farm is a retired dairy farm turned beef cattle farm, with a homey, and affordable, bed and breakfast - rates start at $55/night for two. Lane Harvey Brown even includes her family's schedule from an ideal day that they spent on the farm, including a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, which is nearby. Other possibilities include a visit to Seven Springs Mountain Resort or Ohiopyle State Park.
