Urban Farm Online: Farm-Fresh Vacations

Farm stays, first introduced in Europe in the 1980s to help farmers supplement their incomes, have become popular in the United States, where a growing number of farmers are throwing open their pasture gates to welcome guests.


Urban Farm Online explores the idea of taking a vacation on a farm, and profiles three farm stays across the country: Serenbe Farms in Georgia, Fickle Creek Farm in North Carolina, and Leaping Lamb Farm in Oregon.
