A great place to base yourself for your Alaska vacation or just play for the day. We offer a fun and easy going day trip or can custom build an extreme day trip deep into the Chugach National Forest. Shorter custom trail rides available too, also horse drawn carriage trips.
Take in the many activities the Kenai Peninsula has to offer from our ranch. Our mountian community offers world class fishing in the Kenai River, river rafting both easy going scenic or whitewater trips and numerous hiking trails. Our accommodations include kitchen privlages and use of ranch amenities. Our staff is happy to help arrange your activites. We offer a serene, easy going atmosphere specializing in "true Alaskan hopitality".
With rare permits for the Chugach National Forest and the Kenai Wildlife Refuge, Alaska Horsemen will take you into special areas where very few people have ever been. (Discovering new areas and sharing them exclusively with our guests is what we are passionate about.)
The wilderness pack trips are provided by the owners, Alex Kime and his daughter Gretchen. The Kime’s guide all of the back country pack trips, insuring that their guests will have a knowledgeable, experienced, licensed guide. Alex has explored the back country of Alaska by horseback for over 30 years.
