A magical place set against the backdrop of California History just 8 miles from Coloma, the site where gold was first discovered. This American farmhouse is reminiscent of historic farmhouses that once graced the area.
Enchanted April Farm is a working farm with horses, an olive grove, lavender and a small vineyard. Enchanted April Bed and Breakfast Inn lies along an old stage route used by settlers and miners to ferry goods back and forth from Sacramento to the mining camps. A few remnants of past glory can be seen in the ruins of historic buildings nearby. A 350 year old heritage oak graces the center of the property...and what stories it could tell!
The Inn, although relatively new, has a wonderful feeling of old world charm. It is reminiscent of the farmhouses that once dotted the area in a bygone era.
