Our 300-acre California farm sits on the eastern foothills of the coastal mountain range near Orland. We are across the street from the Black Butte Lake and recreation area, 10 minutes west of Interstate 5. The farm is 30 miles west of Chico, and 100 miles north of Sacramento.
Make your stay extra-special by staying in our cozy Country Cabin. May through October, our Cabin is available for you and your family (including four-legged friends)! The Country Cabin features one queen bed, a hide-a-bed sofa, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, and handicapped-accessible bathroom facilities.
Wake up to crowing roosters on our beautiful 300-acre sanctuary nestled in the eastern foothills of the coastal mountain range near Orland, California. During your stay, you are welcome to browse our visitor center, take a relaxing stroll around the sanctuary to see our rescued farm animals grazing in the pastures, and go on a guided tour. We are a short drive from beautiful nature areas, bike trails and antique shops, as well as Black Butte Lake, with hiking trails, swimming and picnic areas.
