Our ranch was founded 82 years ago, and when you come, you'll enjoy warm hospitality and a genuine Western ranch experience. You'll drink in the views, inhale the crisp mountain air, and gaze in awe at some of Colorado’s most Spectacular Scenery. From the front porch of our historic log lodge, you have a panoramic view of 100 miles of the Continental Divide.
Guests for years have commented on our appreciation for and knowledge of the natural environment. We work hard to care for the land we live on and use. We aren't trying to conquer it or make it look like a groomed city park. Instead, we try to understand it in depth and to become a positive force within it. For example, when we go on an overnight packtrip, we take special pains to ensure that after we leave others won't be aware that we were even there.
Our fall cattle roundup is held the 3rd week in September. We help the local cattle ranchers gather their herds, bring them home, and move them from place to place on their home ranches. Your children will have a fabulous time riding, swimming, fishing, and playing with their new friends. Latigo is a Family Oriented, Kid Friendly place where you can be with them as much as you want, but don’t have to watch over them every minute.
