Summary
Our 36 acre farm is a few miles outside Hotchkiss, Colorado. Panoramic vistas capture high mountains for which Colorado is renowned. Situated as we are between mountains, deserts, and canyons, we enjoy hot days and cool nights which are ideal for growing delicious fruit. At Mesa Winds Farm we produce USDA Certified Organic cherries, peaches, apples, grapes, berries, asparagus, and honey. Recently we've added Babydoll Southdown sheep to graze in the vineyards and we are transitioning our farm to biodynamic practices.
Our artisan winery began in 2011, and we bottle Pinot Gris, Pinot Meunier, Rose, and Peach wine from fruit grown on our farm. You will be delighted to sample wines that are as local as it gets!
