Smith Fork luxury guest Ranch is located on Colorado's western slope, approximately 7 1/2 miles east of the town of Crawford. The Ranch is nestled within the beautiful Gunnison National Forest adjoining the wild, untamed West Elk Wilderness Area.
The diverse surroundings provide great habitat for many different species of wildlife, including elk, mule deer, bald and golden eagles, red-tailed hawks, wild turkeys, bobcats, beavers, black bears, and much, much more. Beautiful stands of aspen, fir and spruce cover the valleys and mountainsides, and stunning fields of wildflowers bloom throughout the spring, summer and fall.
Smith Fork Ranch is a private luxury destination nestled in the Colorado Rocky Mountains amidst thousands of acres of the West Elk Wilderness and the Gunnison National Forest. With intimacy, comfort and gracious hospitality, superb farm-to-table cuisine and an extensive bar and wine cellar, Smith For Ranch offers relaxation, rejuvenation and the exhilaration of the great outdoors.
Children 8 years and up are allowed during Family Week, otherwise children must be at least 16 to stay at ranch. A full bar is available for purchase. The entire ranch may be rented. Contact owners for details.
