Summary
Two Shoes Ranch is a working cattle ranch breeding, raising, showing, and selling miniature Herefords. The ranch offers simple ranch stays as well as a mentorship program.
Overnight lodging is provide for guests wanting to spend time in a rural atmosphere enjoying the animals but not necessarily wanting to learn to run a small ranch themselves. For the more adventurous horseback riding is available or collecting fresh eggs for breakfast, or just plan relaxing and enjoying the clean fresh air and peaceful surrounding complete with elk, deer, antelope and many species of birds.
The Mentorship Program is offered to individuals and families looking to start and/or improve their own small acerage/hobby livestock ranch operation. Our objective is to provide basic knowledge through hands-on experience in livestock ranching operations. The program involves a minimum of three nights stay which will provide a basic overview of all livestock operations offered on the ranch. Longer stays will concentrate on particular areas of interest to the beginning rancher. Lodging and meals are provided.
This working cattle operation is located only 45 minutes from world class skiing, and 10 minutes from National Forest and BLM public land, where summer and winter activities abound. Hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, hiking, or just plain relaxing.
Other nearby activites include an 18 hole golf course, miniture golf for the whole family, a fun wave pool during the summer, a museum featuring a large wild west gunfighter collection, and unique shops in the nearby historic downtown district of Craig.
