Secluded, yet accessible, was a key criterion when we found Vista Verde Ranch. Largely surrounded by the National Forest, the ranch offers direct forest entry from virtually all directions. The widely known and highly regarded ranching community of Steamboat Springs is just 45 minutes away from major league skiing and golf, and even shopping, if you must. We're happy to take you into Steamboat Springs for shopping or skiing, and again, it's all part of our all-inclusive ranch package.
Talented instructors, quality horses, first class facilities and a committment to excellence makes the Vista Verde Horse Program really unique. The full-size heated Indoor Riding Arena allows for year round riding in comfort. The Mare Barn gives our breeding stock a comfortable and quiet place to deliver and raise the foals. Various times throughout the year Horsemanship Clinics are offered at Vista Verde Ranch. These are in addition to our on-going riding program which always offers the opportunity for clinics and lessons. The Horsemanship Clinics are intensive riding experiences, focusing on either specific techniques for the competitive rider or general horsemanship skills for the rider looking to improve their overall skills.
Our dining experience strikes the balance between ranchy and fancy. We mix it up so some meals are casual and served family style while others are more formal, multi-course dining events. What is the same is the high level of attention to quality, freshness and creativity.
