Summary
Serenbe Farms is a certified organic farm located directly in the Serenbe community and surrounded by the rural oasis of the Chattahoochee Hill Country. Situated on 25 preserved acres of farmland, we are slowing increasing our acreage and diversifying our production.
Started in 2004, the farm began on a degraded slab of red clay earth and has transformed into a haven for wildlife, biodiversity, and a lush landscape. Currently we produce over 350 varieties of vegetables, flowers, herbs, mushrooms, and eggs on about 5 of the 25 acres. We find security in diversity both in what we grow and how we market our produce. Growing a healthy mix of heirlooms and hybrids, we focus on taste, genetic preservation, and production.
Our accommodations are known as the Inn at Serenbe. Here we offer 5 cottages and/or converted farm buildings for your stay. Booking is by the room. You can also book accommodations in the community of Serenbe with access to all Inn facilities, including our excellent Farm House restaurant.
There are over 100 farm animals that live on the Serenbe farm. Children of all ages can join our staff as we feed the animals and help gather the eggs. With our assistance, you can play with the bunnies, hand feed the goats, visit the pigs, horses, donkeys and llamas. In the spring you can visit the young calves.
There are several miles of trails, three streams, two waterfalls, and a lake. Hay rides and marshmallow roasts around a campfire are also among the highlights when young people visit the Inn.
