Located on the Big Island of Hawaii on the beautiful Kona coast, Halemalu is situated in one of the worlds finest destination areas. The Halemalu Retreat Center sits on a private five acre botanical garden estate in Captain Cook and is beautifully landscaped with tropical flora and over 30 different varieties of fruit trees. It has many areas around the grounds that are suitable for group or private activities.
The wonderful Kona weather found here at our 1,600 foot elevation insures that the climate is always comfortable and allows us to hold many of our functions under both sunny or starry skies. As you breath in the fresh air of the mountains and hear the birds sing in the morning, you will feel you are one with nature, peaceful, refreshed and ready to start your day!
The accommodations at Halemalu have been designed to provide the utmost of convenience and comfort for our guests. We have six spacious suites available for your use. Feel free to utilize our fully equipped Kitchen Buffet area to prepare light meals for your breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You may even find for your enjoyment some freshly picked fruits that have been grown right here on the grounds of the Halemalu Estate! Private groups have use of the Chef's Quarters and Kitchen for preparation of all meals. Our Dining Lanai can accommodate up to 40 people.
