North Country Farms is an organic family farm with two tropical bed and breakfast cottages, located just east of the rural and historical town of Kilauea on the lush north shore of Kauai, the Garden Island. We feel proud to be the stewards of this 4 acre piece of paradise.
We grow vegetables, fruits and flowers on our 4-acre piece of heaven. Come, smell the scent of our tropical flowers and fruit blossoms carried on the trade winds to your cottage. Pick your salad from our gardens, your fruit from our orchard. Unlike a traditional Band B, we do not serve breakfast. We greet your arrival at the cottages with an "aloha breakfast basket" of coffee, teas, juice, tropical fruits from the farm, granola, muffins, and the like—and invite and encourage you to pick from the organic gardens and orchards while you are guests here.
Living and working this land provides our family with a quality of lifestyle that is irreplaceable. We grow 3 acres of organic produce year-round -- a market garden of mixed vegetables. There are orchard trees bearing avocados, limes, grapefruit, oranges, mangos, lychee, and papaya. And, not to be forgotten - our pineapple field, banana groves and our tropical flowers growing so beautifully and abundantly. Our produce is sold directly to 50-60 families weekly.
