Summary

Castle Rock Ranch is located in the scenic north Idaho panhandle on 100 acres with a mile of frontage on the Coeur D’alene river.

We raise grass fed beef, pastured poultry, and pork in addition to blueberries and raspberries. Food, farming and outdoor fun is our focus! We manage a huge garden in the summer that provides food for our family, and for our guests and camps throughout the summer and preserves for the next year.

Castle Rock Ranch is a great spot for people who are interested in sustainable agriculture, the outdoors and great food. There's plenty to do on the ranch in the summer - tending to the animals, moving the cows as part of their daily pasture rotation, getting your hands in the dirt in our no-till garden, or picking blueberries if you're lucky enough to be there when they're ripe.

The Coeur D'alene river is famous for fly-fishing and we even have a trout run on the property. Guided fishing trips are available too. The river is also a great spot for swimming, floating, or just relaxing on warm afternoons. The nearby Silver Valley has lots to explore from hiking in the Panhandle National Forest to exploring the old silver mines in historic Wallace, Idaho.

In addition to our livestock, we have goats, a milk cow, friendly barn cats and horses. During part of July and August, we run a summer camp for girls.
