Summary
At Twin Peaks Ranch you can enjoy the widest variety of western activities found in the Northern Rockies. From riding to wrangling to rafting, you can experience it all. Come break trail over the Continental Divide where Lewis and Clark came over on their way to map the Northwest Territories. Herd cattle through the open range of our working ranches 2,900 acres. Raft the rated Salmon River, or as many know it, the “River of No Return”. Or just relax in our heated swimming pool. Fishing, target shooting, arena riding, overnight trips, evening entertainment and much more await you as well.
After hearing year after year from visiting friends that the public would enjoy these facilities, the ranch was opened to the public over a decade ago. The facilities have since been expanded to include larger cabins, dining room, machine shop, barn, arena and a rifle range. In the past several years, the ranch has acquired several outposts that are available to its guests including, a World War I soldier’s homesteaded pasture and tent campsite called North Basin, an alpine lake lodge know as Williams Lake Lodge, and a white water river camp on the Salmon River called Ram’s Head.
At the ranch, the cozy original cabins are separate one and two bedroom units with three-quarter baths. All units have covered porches with comfortable chairs. The newer, more spacious deluxe cabins are comprised of three side-by-side units. They are available individually or together to provide connecting accommodations for up to six.
