Summary
Located in south Louisiana in a town called Vacherie between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, the cottage is located on a 50 acre farm - complete with horses and cows, chickens and a pig. Our farm land also includes 2 large crawfish ponds and nearby canals with fresh water fishing.
At the cottage, the large front porch has rockers and a swing and another swing in the large oak tree out front. You can stroll around the farm or try your luck at fishing. It’s a perfect place for getting back to nature and be without the city rush.
Our cottage was built with lumber from an old plantation house dated back in the early 1900. It has two bedrooms, one bath, living room, kitchen & laundry room. Both bedrooms have full-size beds. The private bath has an oversized tub plus a separate walk-in shower.
