Splendor Farms is a charming 70-acre Louisiana farm located 1/4 mile from the scenic Bogue Chitto River. Only an hour from the New Orleans airport and the famous French Quarter, Splendor Farms is convenient to Interstates 10, 12, 55, & 59. We can accommodate you, your pets, and your children whether you're looking for a place to spend the night, a weekend, a week, or even if you're traveling between horse or dog shows and want to break up your trip. We can stable your livestock and your pets are welcome in your room!
Splendor Farms has plenty to offer nature and animal lovers and busy city folks looking for a place "to get away from it all." Guests at our Bed & Breakfast enjoy FREE horseback riding! Riding is included in all guest room rates. We ride over 1,000 acres through creeks and woods, across big fields, and around lakes. Deer, egrets, herons, and beautiful scenery are along every ride, even the occasional alligator and wild hog come across our rides!
We also offer swimming, hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, tubing, and more. Spend some time away from your hectic life visiting with adorable long-haired miniature dachshunds, cows, goats, chickens, horses, and cats. You can gather your own eggs and pick veggies from the garden or find a good book and lay in a hammock. We also offer lawn games, such as badminton, volleyball, and horseshoes. Once you come visit, you'll want to come back again and again!
CAMPS: half-day and overnight for girls 6-16. These are horse/farm camps over the holidays, monthly, and summers.
