Summary
On a knoll by the shores of Pleasant River and Pleasant Bay in Addison, Maine, rests our 110 acre working llama farm. We are nestled in Downeast Maine's Washington County -- the first to greet the sunrise. Enjoy the rise and fall of the tides while gazing at the many shore birds and seals. Meander on our trails accompanied by a gentle llama, or explore the shoreline in quiet seclusion. Relax at day's end by the hearth while enjoying the sunset, or enjoy our deck and screened porch in the summertime.
Fresh and saltwater rivers and lakes abound for canoeing, kayaking, boating, and swimming. Do some bird watching at fresh and salt water marshes and islands. Machias Seal Island is home to nesting Atlantic puffins.
Explore the State Parks and nature conservancy lands. Join in with farm chores and activities and get to know our "Speechless Brothers" as the ancient Incas referred to the gentle llama. Relax by biking or hiking, or unwind with a game of croquet or horseshoes. On those clear evenings, take the time to gaze at the stars.
