We offer Butterfly Fields Bed and Breakfast to our guests as the home and farm we built for our family of eight children. Butterfly Fields is an energy efficient, solar designed, super-insulated custom home. Ten years in the construction, our hand-crafted home is truly a work of love with attention to detail.
With the surrounding gardens, decks, pastures, and livestock, Butterfly Fields offers to the discerning adult guest an opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of country living at the doorsteps of our nation’s capital and the surrounding Chesapeake Bay region.
Lynda’s creative skills as a potter have been the catalyst for creating Goose at the Door Pottery. Designed and built by Dan, the Pottery offers guests an opportunity to take home a gift or keepsake.
Lynda is also a certified massage therapist. Pre-arranged appointments are preferred, but short notice requests are welcomed and every attempt will be made to honor them. Gift Certificates are available and make wonderful gifts.
