Black Star Farms, located in the heart of Leelanau Peninsual Wine Country, is a unique agricultural destination that features two winery production facilities with adjacent tasting rooms, a distillery, Inn, and equestrian facility. Our winery and distillery produce some of the most sought after and awarded Michigan wines and spirits. Our luxurious Inn is the perfect place to host private special events including weddings, corporate retreats, and family celebrations. Leelanau Cheese’s artisanal cheese and the Hearth & Vine restaurant add to the culinary offerings at our Suttons Bay site.

Our distinctive Bed & Breakfast Inn, nestled below a hillside of vineyards and overlooking barns and pastures, features eight luxurious guestrooms with an exceptional package of services and amenities. Our guestrooms are named for various stars in the Northern galaxy. Each has its own private bath, some have fireplaces or spa tubs. All guestrooms have WiFi and satellite TV. Your stay includes afternoon refreshments, an evening wine reception, a full gourmet breakfast, a complimentary bottle of our wine, and enjoyment of our sauna, library, and recreational trails.
The stables provide stalls for 13 horses with turnout paddocks and pastures. The facility is designed for training with indoor and outdoor arenas. A clubhouse viewing lounge is available for boarders. Inn guests are invited to stable their horses and use the equestrian facilities during their stay.
