The Grey Hare Inn Vineyard Bed and Breakfast is an elegant country vineyard estate located on Old Mission Peninsula in the heart of scenic Northern Michigan Wine Country. As a working farm and vineyard, the estate offers the experience of a hospitality style typical of a "mas" (farmhouse) in Southern France, combined with the convenience and amenities afforded by the major vacation destination of Traverse City.
The Inn features three lovely guest rooms with all amenities. All rooms offer a private bath and queen-size bed, european-styled decor, and expansive views of the bay, orchards, and vineyards. A full gourmet breakfast is "tastefully" included. A limestone fireplace provides the focus for the shared great room/library, while outside, a trellised stone patio awaits.
Take a relaxing stroll down our country lane to nearby wine-tasting facilities, play with the farm's resident felines and other assorted animals, or enjoy area activities such as sailing, biking, golfing, hiking, skiing, antique shopping, and dining. Old Mission Peninsula boasts one of the most scenic agricultural areas anywhere highlighted by May's cherry blossoms, July's Cherry Festival, and the exceptional Fall colors.
