Located on a 50 acre llama farm in rural Ingham County, Michigan, Topliff’s Tara Bed and Breakfast is within easy driving distance of charming downtown Williamston, numerous antique shops, Michigan State University, Michigan’s capital city of Lansing, golf courses, shopping and fine dining. The Bed and Breakfast in the 1905 farm house portion of this grand country home. It features five themed bedrooms. A full breakfast is included with your stay.
You will find gardens aplenty at Tara. Surrounding the house and in the yard are numerous perennial gardens in seasonal blooms. In the summer, enjoy the garden views from decks and porches. An outdoor hot tub is available year round.
A visit to Tara is not complete without a stroll to the llama fields. There you will find approximately 20 llamas grazing on 10 fenced acres. If you have the good fortune to be visiting in the spring or fall you may even encounter a newborn "cria". Time permitting, the owners will give you a briefing on llamas and their care.
Llamas, wool, handspun yarn, and hand-made llama wool items are also available for sale.
