Summary

Briggs Farm is a family-owned farm and outdoor adventure destination in the scenic Cedar Valley, just 25 minutes from historic downtown Winona, Minnesota, and the Mississippi River. The farm covers five hundred acres encompassing a wide range of habitat: wooded bluffs; meadows dotted with wildflowers; small fields of hay, corn, and beans; green pastures (where we graze our grass-fed beef); Cedar Valley Creek; and even a small apple orchard. Wildlife is welcomed here: we don't spray our fields with pesticides or herbicides, and we let the deer, turkeys, and other wildlife "harvest" the corn and beans. Located in the heart of the Mississippi Flyway (boasting more than 280 species of birds) and within easy driving distance of six state parks and the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge, Briggs Farm is the perfect headquarters for all your outdoor adventures in the bluffs of the Mississippi River Valley. Our three-bedroom country-style farmhouse offers simple but comfortable accommodations for up to eight people and includes two bathrooms (one full, one half), dining room, living room, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, and deck. Our outdoor space includes plenty of room for celebrations and gatherings, and features an outdoor oven where we make wood-fired pizza and bread.
