Dancing Winds Farm lies in the verdant rolling prairie of Southeastern Minnesota. The countryside has classic farms, meandering streams and rivers, and the remaining climax forests of the Big Woods that covered so much of this area 100 years ago. The farmhouse, is situated on a sustainably managed, Grade A goat dairy and farmstead cheese plant near Kenyon, Minnesota. .
Guests enjoy the safe haven of a private guest house with over 750 square feet of peaceful retreat space on two floors. Your private and fully-equipped kitchen offers a refrigerator stocked with award winning fresh goat cheese made right here on the farm. Other hearty breakfast fixings are provided, promoting locally produced foods from small family farms in the area: fresh breads, jams, farm fresh eggs. In addition, gourmet coffees and teas, fresh fruit and juices and a well supplied pantry allow our guests freedom to start their day at their own pace in style.
Guests will enjoy their sunrise front porch, sunset back deck with patio, barbecue, overlooking a scenic pond with waterfalls. Guests are welcome to participate in farm activities, or just enjoy the healing energy of the goats and the relaxing country atmosphere. Dancing Winds provides a fun and educational experience for children and adults alike.
