Summary
Located in the heartland of the United States, Badger Hill Farms has been a family owned property for 4 generations. Our farm is, in fact, named after the hill where our grandfather carried the U.S Mail from horseback days to the days of the automobile. He even delivered mail on a Henderson model Harley at one time.
We have some great stories to share with our visitors. We provide a wide-range of activities from mushroom hunting, fishing, gardening and Indian artifact hunting to hunting for whitetail deer and turkey. We raise Angus cattle and put up our own hay so don't be surprised if you get involved in those chores.
We aren't fancy but we do serve up some home cooked meals from garden to table. Your stay can include visits to small historical towns and antique havens. We are also a short drive away from Mark Twain's home, Florida, MO and Hannibal, MO where Tom Sawyer whitewashed the fence.
We would love to share the stories with you and provide a true farm experience for you and yours.
