The Flynn Ranch is located adjacent to the Missouri River where the Lewis and Clark Expedition traveled in 1805. The Flynn Ranch of Townsend, Montana is a 5th generation "Working Ranch", steeped in the tradition of the old West yet progressive and innovative so to remain economically viable in the fast-paced times of space travel and the internet. Maximum number of guests booked is six per week for Ranch Vacations, twelve for Cattle Drives! (additional guests accepted for special occasions, i.e. family reunions, etc.)
Flynn Ranch Vacations and Flynn Ranch, Inc. are very proud to offer a select number of guests the chance to participate in an authentic cattle drive three times a year for a one week duration. At that time up to 12 guests will be asked to join the traditional ranch hands round up 600 to 1000 cattle and drive them to their summer pastures in southwest Montana's Big Belt Mountains.
Accommodations are simple but clean and comfortable. However… most guests don’t spend a lot of time indoors in this beautiful area. Most guests stay in our 3-Bedroom "Bunkhouse ". Each has a queen sized bed and western furnishings.
