Uncle Buck's Lodge is on the Rhoades family ranch near Brewster, Nebraska. The ranch has been family owned and operated since 1881 and continues much as it did in the days of the Old West. Through holistic resource management we maintain our grasslands without the use of chemicals. These practices optimize game production and benefit the ecological health of our land and water resources.
It is our hope to keep the ranching tradition alive and preserve its heritage and culture. We founded Uncle Buck's as a way to diversify our operation and share the ranching experience with our many guests. Our repeat guests tell us they enjoy a way of life that has disappeared in many parts of the country. So come on out and meet the four generations of the Rhoades family and experience some good old-fashioned Sandhills hospitality.
