Summary
The B and B was started back in the spring of 2000. I renovated the house and started the organic farm and raising goats for cheese making. I had no difficulty falling asleep at night, as you may have guessed. We have hosted thousands of visitors from all walks of life and all corners of the globe. We have created a leisurely and accepting environment where you and your spouse or partner, children and pets are all most welcome. We celebrate diversity.
Escape to the countryside for a quick weekend getaway or spend an entire week. Silver Maple's colonial-period stone farmhouse is surrounded by tranquil gardens, fields, and forest, yet we are just 15 minutes from all the historic sites, recreational activities, fine dining and shopping offered in the nearby towns of Lambertville, Flemington, and Frenchtown, all in Hunterdon County, NJ, and New Hope and Doylestown in Bucks County, PA.
You'll be pampered with old-fashioned hospitality and enjoy a homemade country breakfast in our colonial dining room that retains its original pumpkin pine wide-plank floors. You can take a dip in the pool, play tennis, lounge on the deck, frolic with the goats, soak in the year-round hot-tub, or simply relax in our sun-drenched rec room or our historic living room.
Our breakfasts are wonderful: homemade, healthy, and complete. No continental breakfasts here!
