Summary

Situated along the southwestern edge of the Gila National Forest,  the Double E Guest Ranch proudly boasts some of the  most spectacular riding vistas in the southwest! This country is breathtakingly beautiful, rugged, remote and pristine - and the best way to see it is from the back of a gentle, willing horse.  Our  horses are tough, seasoned ranch horses in excellent condition.  They will take you trail riding or rounding up cattle; searching for Indian Ruins or traveling the trails of outlaws and gunfighters. At 5000' elevation, and with daytime temperatures ranging from 48 degrees in the winter months to 98 degrees in warmest summer months, four mild New Mexico seasons make outdoor horseback adventures possible year 'round.  New Mexico truly is the "Land of Enchantment"!

Whether you are a horse owner who rides every day or a "city slicker dude" riding only a few times during the year, if you are interested in improving your horsemanship skill level,  Double E Ranch wants to help. It's hands on, sleeves up, seat  in the  saddle!  Regardless of your riding level, we offer activities for everyone. (Please remember:  we probably are not the place for anyone who has never ridden a horse.)

The American West holds a special place in the hearts of millions all over the world. Being a cowboy isn't just about what you wear, how you walk or what kind of horse you ride. Being "Cowboy" is a state of mind and heart, where the West is still alive and doing very well. We are extremely proud to be doing our part to preserve our country's Ranching Tradition.  We work daily caring for it.  We're pleased to give folks like you an opportunity to share this experience, welcome you into our "home".
