Summary
Halcyon Farm Bed and Breakfast is 5 miles south of Amsterdam in historic Mill Point. Our 7,000 sq foot Federal brick home was built from 1790 to 1819 and sits between 300 acres of hay fields and woods and the high "Blue Bank" cliff. Five guest bedrooms have private bathrooms, gas fireplaces, high ceilings, air conditioning & cotton linens. The guest living room & adjoining library have a baby grand piano and a selection of books and boardgames.
Guests now have their own private entrance and the spacious Gathering Room is available for small functions such as bridal or baby showers. All rooms and guest areas are equipped with wireless internet and flatscreen wall-mounted TVs with DVDs. A unique selection of family antiques includes memorabilia from John’s great-grandfather, a whaling captain.
Enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast and June's freshly made cookies and hot or iced tea. We will happily arrange to pick up boaters or bikers - the Mohawk River bike trail (bikeway) at Auriesville is 5 miles and the boat dock at Riverlink Park is 5 miles.
