Our FarmStay is fun for anyone with an interest in the farm experience, nature and the outdoors, or spending time in a beautiful pastoral setting. Our FarmStay Barn is rustic yet elegant - filled with sturdy, child proof antiques. It is located way back behind Kinderhook Farm's main entrance, where the hills and pastures roll out breathtaking vistas of grazing sheep and cows.
Young farmers are excited to experience sustainable farming up close. They learn about pasture rotation, the importance of grasses, the raising of chickens and what makes for a healthy, thriving animal.
Kinderhook Farm is a busy place from early morning, when the rooster crows and the FarmStore opens, until dark, when the chickens are locked up safe in their coops. There are tractors rolling in and out, horses being groomed, and people always stopping by to say hello.
Families, friends. foodies, aspiring farmers, artists, photographers, writers will all feel nurtured and inspired in our bucolic surroundings. We are confident that all will enjoy their stay with us on the farm.
