Summary
The Thomas Family Orchard is located six miles south of Zanesville, Ohio, on State Route #555 directly behind Stovertown.
Upon purchasing the orchard, Bill and Vicky started to upgrade by replacing old trees with semi-dwarf trees, allowing them to plant many more tress on the same acreage. After about 13 years of no peach crops and the fact that they were being advised to diversify (Do not put all your apples in one basket),they planted one acre of seedless table grapes in 1986.
Today, the orchard consists of 26 different varieties of apples (approximately 400 trees), peaches, seedless table grapes, plums and blueberries.
