Summary
Willis and Kathy Miller live with their two teenage girls and one younger boy on a third-generation Amish family farm of over 100 acres. Guests will find the daily activities include raising hay and corn, milking the Holstein dairy herd, and caring for the Belgian Draft horses used for the daily farm work.
With permission from the family, perhaps you would like to be on the hitch wagon pulled by great Belgian Draft horses, help feed the farm animals or assist with other farm chores. How about grilling outside on the patio area adjoining your room? Surrounded by fresh flowers, a stay at this bed and breakfast will be an experience you and your family will always treasure.
Visit the local produce and livestock sales in the quaint Amish towns of Mount Hope or Kidron. You will be taken back to a fascinating lifestyle that brings happiness and relaxation as you find yourself in the center of the world's largest Amish community. Regardless of the season, you will be astounded by the natural beauty of the rolling hills of Holmes County, Ohio.
We are willing, in the off-season, to take young women who would like to learn how to hitch a horse or work on an Amish (e.g. off-grid) farm and, in exchange for their labor, give them room and board...and an education.
