Summary
The Flying M Ranch is 10 miles from the nearest urban community, Yamhill. It is midway between Portland and our public Oregon beaches. We are adjacent to many renowned wineries, near outstanding community and college theatrical productions and public golf courses. Many county fairs and individual community festivals are only a short drive away.
Over one hundred twenty five years ago, weary travelers rested at Travelers Home, a hotel along the Trask Mountain Stagecoach route; this is the place the Mitchell family has called home since 1922. The Flying M Ranch was born in 1970 out of a desire to work with family and make a living off the land.
We are family oriented and guests of all ages are welcome. We offer camping, a rustic cabin, and the old ranch house.
Camping is open year 'round at the ranch! You can tent camp or bring a camper trailer/ RV, however, there are no hook-ups. You are also able to bring your own horses and/or dogs. They simply need to be under your full control at all times!
