Summary
Leaping Lamb Farm is located in a quiet creek valley of the Coast Range, 40 miles from the ocean and 25 miles from the university town of Corvallis. Our small family farm was originally homesteaded by the Spencers in 1862. We raise sheep and turkeys, but have an abundance of other domesticated animals and wildlife on the property.
We offer the privacy of a self-contained cabin about 500 feet from our farm house. The cabin includes two bedrooms, a full bath, complete kitchen, large airy living room, and multi-level deck with views overlooking orchards and pastures. Breakfast is included and we allow 'grazing' in our gardens in season. We have added a barbeque and suggest that the cabin can comfortably hold six.
You are invited to assist in feedings and egg collection and to partake in any of our farming chores in which you have interest. Or not! The farm is a retreat from city life. We can promise country quiet (with a lazy rooster alarm clock), trails for hiking, the gentle Honey Grove Creek running through our property, and lots of room to roam.
