Our 90-acre farm and bakery is located in the heart of the beautiful Applegate Valley in Southern Oregon. Being a true "family farm", the whole family work together to grow, pick, process, bake and jam the berries into the freshest, most wonderful baked goods and jams available. All of the berries are grown herbicide-free, and the baked goods are made "from scratch", using only the freshest ingredients available. Our farm products are well-known and always a "sell-out" at the farmer's markets throughout the Valley. Just a few of the treats awaiting farm stay guests include cookie jars stocked with Pennington Farms fresh baked sweets, farm fresh milk and eggs, as well as local Applegate Valley wines.
Nostalgic accommodations set the stage for a "Farm Stay" to remember. The updated interior of this classic ranch style house is chock-full of fun details that induce smiles and amp up the comfort level for guests.
Guests have the options of farm activities, long walks through a breathtaking landscape, relaxation inside or outside on the back patio overlooking fields and singularly stunning sunsets. Our guests include bicyclists exploring rural backroads, paragliders taking advantage of surrounding peaks for dramatic takeoffs and families scouring for antiques and vintage treasures in surrounding towns. The Pennington Family Farm's Guest House has hosted individuals seeking solitude, couples enjoying a romantic getaway and families from urban areas taking a break from the hustle and bustle on our family farm.
