Summary
Glamping in a charming, refurbished 1970 Airstream Land Yacht in a private setting on a real goat cheese farm. The Airstream has a full length, covered front porch where you can watch goats, wild turkeys, and mother nature. Inside is funky, cute, and cozy, with a double, memory foam bed, fridge, stove. Hot shower and bathroom is available a short walk away in the main building.
Participate in milking and farm chores if you like, feed baby goats in the spring, or hike our forest trails. It is family run, sustainable, and organically managed. Their aged raw milk cheeses have received world wide acclaim- plan on sampling them during your stay.
Due to off-grid, there is no mircowave in the Airstream. Wi-fi in tasting room and on front patio of creamery (main building). Located 10 miles outside of the City of Rogue River, and 40 minutes from Ashland-home of the Shakespeare Festival. The Rogue River is famous for its scenic beauty, rafting, and fishing.
Food: The fridge will have a orange juice, milk, and yogurts for your breakfast. Coffee, tea, and hot cocoa included. Feel free to bring food. If dining out, we highly recommend the following City of Rogue River establishments: The Station, slow, hand cooked food. Mod price.; Pasiano's Italian, take-out and small dine-in, resonable priced, homemade sauces and cheeses; Abby's Pizza. Please check with each for hours.
Nearest airport is Medford, about 35 minutes from the farm. We are 25 minutes from the closest Greyhound station in Grants Pass Oregon. We recommend renting a car or bringing your own.
The farm is a working farm, not merely a display. The country is peaceful, but the farm is bustling!
