Summary
Landis Farm is located in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This was Earl's family farm, so he lived here most of his life. Our guest house has been operating since 1977. As you enter the 200 year old guest house, you will be opening an Indian door and excellent craftsmanship of early architecture. The large walk-in-fireplace as well as the pine wood floors and red and gold woodwork are all from earlier times.
On this 70 acre farm we grow corn, soybeans, and wheat. We were a dairy farm until 2003. There is always something to do on a farm--enjoy a tractor ride, see the cows in the pasture, or children will enjoy playing with the animals. We as your hosts will enjoy sharing the history of the farm and welcome questions.
Our two bedroom guest house is a great place to relax while taking advantage of the many wonderful recreational, entertainment, and cultural attractions of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Your family can enjoy the simple life by watching the cows in the meadow, petting a lively goat or gathering eggs from the chickens. Adults will enjoy the beautiful gardens while taking it easy on a porch rocker, reading a book or relaxing in their own home away from home.
