Only one party of guests is booked at a time at The Maples. You have the whole wing of the house that includes the glass enclosed indoor pool (which is a water gym) and hot tub. You will find spa robes, spa towels and flip flops waiting for you. On site masssage is often available. All aspects of The Maples are handicapped friendly. No steps to entry level pool or king bedroom and it features a step into steamshower in the private bathroom - also a washer and dryer. No steps to patio off poolroom and bedroom or to wrap around deck. Air conditioned. Small regrigerator and small microwave in pool room. Dish TV. Golf 3 miles.
You tell us what your favorite snacks are and what you would like for breakfast and when you would like it. Folks tell us they come here and melt and relax. Wildlife to watch - at the wildlifes own schedule - usually inlcude deer and turkeys - many species of birds, squirels, chipmunks and etc.
Over 100 horses live at Jacobson's Wild Horses located 1/2 mile away. Horses are everywhere on my parents 220 acre farm. Horses are available for sale and you may go and watch the horses or pet them or feed them carrots at any time. The horse farming started out with adopting a few horses rescued by the Department of the Interior from out west - that were in danger of starving due to lack of available food. They were small and Grandpa thought they would be just the right size for his 7 young grandchildren to ride. Well - he kept going to more adoptions and falling in love with more horses. Had 150 at one point. They have been mixed in with some other horses and now many sizes are available.
Located near PA's Grand Canyon and Corning, NY's Glass Center and Finger Lakes Wine Country. Nearby fishing and boating. Near PA Hike and Bike Trail located in the Grand Canyon. Near the Tioga Railroad trail rides and horse and wagon rides. Hiking out the front door. Near PA State Game Lands.
