Grace Note Farm, also known as the Benjamin Smith homestead farm c. 1730, is nestled in the northwest corner of Rhode Island adjacent to the George Washington Management area. Riders can enjoy over six hours of riding on wide, mostly sandy trails that connect to Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Guests bring their own horses and can stay one or more nights on their own or in groups of up to 8 people. Grace Note Farm welcomes group rides, can accommodate 50 trailers and offers breakfast or lunch. The farm hosts parties for horse enthusiasts. Or, bring your bikes for mountain biking. Hiking available on miles of forested trails.
We also offer FARMSTAY, a unique opportunity to work and live on our farm. Participate in the day to day chores of maintaining the farm, caring for horses and other farm animals. You can also help mend fences, paint barns, weed gardens, mow fields, clear trails, unload hay and supplies, clean barns & paddocks or split firewood. Nearby activities include apple picking and hayrides by reservation.
