Summary
We are a working family farm, raise corn, soybeans, winter wheat and alfalfa. The original part of our home was built by Billy's grandparents before 1900, after immigrating from Germany.
We are just 15 minutes from Mitchell, best known for the Corn Palace, but also has six museums including: Prehistoric Indian Village and Archdome, Dakota Discovery Museum, Pepsi Cola Theatre of Performing Arts- Local Talent, Starlite Drive Inn Theatre, 5 movie theatres, Cabelas, and Antique shops.
Here on the farm are horses, cows, chickens, ducks, perhaps a tub of turtles. You may go on a trail ride through the surrounding country. Walk down a quiet country road, pet, feed, pony rides for kids, watch cattle feeding, planting, harvest or just sit in the shade and listen to quiet country sounds. There is also pheasant hunting (in season). Oct. 20 thru Dec.
