If you are looking for a place to vacation with your horse, The Post Oak is the place! A small working ranch and training center in the bluebonnet capital of the world, Burnet, Texas, we operate on a bed and breakfast format out of the main ranch house and the bunkhouse, a small cottage out back. We are very informal and welcome our guests to make themselves at home.
Our mission is to provide our guests with a great riding experience, whether you want something very casual or something focused and intensive. We are here to ride, ride, ride and offer no other organized activities. We do have a pool, lots of ranch animals and wildlife to see, and boundless hill country attractions within a short drive from the ranch. We are not a dude ranch, but even dudes are welcome to the rustic comfort of our ranch.
