Here at Outfitters Resort - The Lodge.. we offer a large varity of activities. First off to tell you a little about our farm- We live 8 miles from the nearest town and neighbor. The nearest town is Eureka, Utah. We have no services provided to us from an outside source. No power poles to block our view. We provide all of our own power, water, internet, etc.
The farm is 40 acres, and the lodge where you stay is 3500 square feet. You have a 360 view of all the mountains, and landscape of the Utah West Desert. Not only is your stay here a reflection of the Western Spirit- it is also a working farm.
On our farm you will get to enjoy all the responsibilities of living a self-sustaining lifestyle. We raise a heritage breed of pork known as "Berkshire Pork" (the kobe beef of pork). We raise our own chickens for meat- and egg laying. We raise and train horse- that are used for horserides for our clients. We grow our own food starting out as seedlings in a greenhouse. All animals on our farm (including all the cats and dogs) live a carefree life. All animals are treated with excellent care, and live and eat all in a humane enviroment.
All meals here are provided from farm fresh produce from our farm and from local farmers. We provide dutch oven cooking, with live cowboy poetry and music. You will come to stay for the week and end of wanting to stay for a lifetime.
