Summary
Nestled against a wood on a knoll overlooking 2 valleys sits Bryn Meadow Farm in Charlotte, VT. Little Shetland sheep graze in the pastures, rare pigs "root" in their pasture, and rare turkeys and chickens pick through the gardens. Located in the mixed landscape of farms and forests, we are a sustainable, natural, humane farm that raises free-range animals. We are centrally located for boating, fishing, skiing, shopping, universities and museums. In season, you can sit on our deck, surrounded by our wrap around perennial garden, look down the valley and enjoy your "country" breakfast.
Unique experiences await you. Fields and forest surround us, and many attractions are minutes away. For example, boating, fishing, hiking, skiing, shopping and more. The Shelburne Museum, a world class museum, and Shelburne Farms are 10 minutes away. VAST (snowmobile) trailheads are 3 minutes down the road. We are about half way between University of Vermont and Middlebury College. The famous Vermont Mozart festival takes place only 10 short minutes away as well as the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory. 30 minutes away is the famous Ben and Jerry Ice Cream factory, sure to be a crowd pleaser!
We raise registered heritage breed sheep. True appreciation comes by seeing these animals in person. Enjoy a memorable stay at our VT countryside bed and breakfast. View the Vermont farm life with the artist and farm manager.
