Summary
Here at Falkenbury Farm east of the Southern Lake Champlain Valley we offer the perfect spot for your family, just the two of you, or maybe a girl’s weekend away?
See and learn where milk comes from. Does our brown cow really give chocolate milk? We are not a big milking dairy. We are milking four family cows at the moment. There are about 20 head of young stock and beef cattle, too. We raise primarily Boer goats and have approximately 60 of them. There are also baby calves in the barn. Here on the farm, we have bunnies to pet and eggs to gather as well. We raise a few pigs and turkeys too.
The "farm experience" is totally optional. If you'd like to just lounge around the house, sit in the sun, whatever..... We make a great home base for doing whatever it is you do when you come to Vermont. Whether it be visiting our many unique shops, picking berries at a nearby orchard, going to the Pond Hill Ranch Rodeo on Saturday night, the Devil's Bowl on Sunday or spending the day at the lake…… We are close to a few sparkling clean lakes and ponds that are perfect for swimming or fishing. Lake Bomoseen, Lake Sunset, Glen Lake, Black Pond and Lake Champlain are a few of your choices. Lake George is less than an hour away, too.
