Summary
Mount Harmony Farm Guest House is a charming 2-story country house in an earthy setting, with privacy, natural beauty, and easy accessibility. This peaceful, unique Guest House is centrally located in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, and is a wonderful place to slow down, unwind and spend time indoors, or out in nature. The private evergreen woods behind the Carriage House are thickly carpeted with fragrant pine needles. The Guest House looks out over the West Pasture and vegetable gardens. In the summer you can hear the woodland creek, the spring peepers and the frogs in the pond.
There is a Great Room upstairs and another one downstairs. All rooms have thermostats for the baseboard heat. Upstairs are 2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Bathrooms, a Kitchenette and the Great Room with its very large picture window facing the mountains. The Breakfast Nook upstairs is outside one of the bedrooms -- great for your morning coffee; especially if you like breakfast in bed. One bedroom has a Queen-size Bed; the other Bedroom has a King-size Sleigh Bed. In the upstairs Great Room there is a built-in King-size Bed off to one side of the Picture Window (this is the bed most people vie for), as well as a built-in Captain's Bed off to the other side of the picture window.
The downstairs Great Room has a full-size stove and oven, full-size refrigerator, and double kitchen sink, wood kitchen island, plus a wood stove (we supply plenty of firewood for up to a week). There is a Full-size futon couch bed to stretch out on, watch TV/DVDs, or open it out for another couple to sleep in.
