
Summary
Taylor Farm is a 180 year old dairy farm nestled in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. Our farm is centrally located between Manchester and Londonderry. Our family has operated the farm for the past 20 years. Our herd consists of 50 milking Holstein and Jersey cows. They keep the goats, pigs, fowl and Belgian horses company in our free stall barn.
We were strictly a dairy farm to begin with, but have added cheese-making, lodging and educational activities to the farm as well as our farmstand. With the loyal support of our community and the agricultural industry of Vermont, we are able to keep family farms a vital part of the Vermont landscape and the economy. For the past five years we have hand-crafted award winning European-style raw milk Gouda cheeses using fresh, sweet milk from our herd. Currently about 1,000 pounds of cheese are produced each week. After a minimum of two months of aging the wheels of cheese are ready for your table.
