In efforts to preserve farmland and forests from the errors of unplanned development, our family has acquired over 500 acres for farm use and trail preservation. In doing so, the farms and trails connect to additional land owners which share the same interest, resulting in a vast network of trails and thousands of acres to ride and enjoy nature.
Shangrila Retreat Guest Ranch has something for everyone, from horseback riding and wagon rides, to sitting by the stocked pond with a good book or fishing. All lodging at the guest ranch is private and has a view of horses and pasture. The guest ranch offers all inclusive horseback riding packages, custom and group packages and packages for those wishing to bring their own horses. The relaxed, country atmosphere also provides a fresh alternative environment for off-site meetings and corporate retreats. Day trail riding and wagon rides are offered by appointment for those folks not staying at the guest ranch.
